Real name Michael Jeffrey Jordan, also known by his initials MJ; Michael Jordan was born at Cumberland Hospital in the Fort Greene neighborhood of New York City’s Brooklyn borough on 17th February 1963.

He is an American businessman and former professional basketball player who currently owns the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and also 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.

If there is one name that failure has rejected in his entire life, it is Michael Jordan. Because it couldn’t succeed in preventing him from being successful, no matter how hard it tried.

Michael himself once said “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game-winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

At age 15, Michael’s dream of becoming a basketball player was cut short when the high school team rejected him because he was not tall.

The incidence made Michael to go home and shut himself up in his room and cried all day.

But later on the rejection would turn out to give Michael Jordan the motivation to pursue his dream at all costs.

Few years later, Michael was given an opportunity by the coach of his junior varsity football team to ride the bus and watch the team play at a tournament; but on condition that he carry the uniform for the junior team players.

But soon enough things starter to change because the following summer Michael had dramatically grown four inches tall and trained harder than everyone else.

And that same year, he joined the team and in no time became their best player.

From there Michael went on to become the best basketball player the world has ever had.

In his basketball career, he has won 6 NBA Championships, 14 all-star games 2 Olympic gold medals.
