Our powerful prayer points and declarations for today Sunday 9 January 2022 is taken from Genesis 37:26.

But before we begin, let us first and foremost ask God to forgive our sins in order that He might listen and hear us for the bible says:

Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Proverbs 28:13.

I acknowledged my sin to you and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin

Psalm 32:5

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!

Psalm 51:1-2.

Prayer Points And Declarations For Sunday 9 January 2022.

Judah said to his brothers, “What will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood?

Genesis 37:26

The brothers of Joseph had concluded plans to kill him, but since Joseph had a very great destiny ahead of him, God caused one of his brother, Judah to convince his brothers not to kill Joseph.

Now Judah’s word that was able to convince his brothers was “what will we gain if we kill our brother”?

It is certain that all the brothers realized they were going to gain nothing by killing Joseph, so they all decided to sell him.

And we know the story from there; how Joseph became a prime minister in the land of Egypt.

If only our enemies always realize that there is nothing they are going to gain by killing us, they would not always carry out their plans to do so.

Today you are going to pray that God should always make available a Judah in the midst of your enemy whenever they are plotting against you.

We make our prayers through Christ our Lord. Amen.
