In this post, we are going to explain a quote by Julie Andrews which says: “Perseverance is failing 19 times and succeeding the 20th.”
Abraham Lincoln is an example of a man who failed so many times in politics until he finally became the president of America.
And the only thing that helped him to succeed was perseverance.
What is perseverance?
Perseverance is simply the act of doing something over and over again notwithstanding the difficulty or delay in achieving success.
I don’t believe there is a goal that can be attained in life without difficulties and delay.
If there is, then it is not success but rather luck
And don’t confuse yourself by thinking luck entails success; because the former happens suddenly while the former takes time amidst obstacles for one to truly attain it.
What’s our motivation for this quote?
Our motivation from this quote by Julie Andrews about perseverance is that we should never give up, but persevere until we succeed.
Nothing comes easy in life, and when you live with that knowledge there is no difficulty or delay that will ever make you give up on your goal.
Have a nice day!
