In this post, we are going to explain a quote by Henry Ford, and the quote says: “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.”
What is an obstacle?
An obstacle is defined as anything that attempts to prevent you from accomplishing your goals in life.
These things can sometimes be physical and sometimes spiritual.
Yes! I believe in the spiritual because often times those things that prevent you from achieving your goal are beyond human control.
And no matter how hard you try to push them away, they keep coming harder and harder on you.
What is a goal?
A goal is simply what you want to achieve in your life.
It could be a career, material possessions, matters of faith and spirituality, etc.
And as we see above, obstacles are those things that will try to prevent you from achieving that goal; as our quote writer, Henry Ford, stated plainly.
How to keep your eyes on the goal.
To keep your eyes on the goal you must do the following:
- Write down your goals.
- Read them out loud every day.
- Meditate on them every single day.
- Take one step every single day towards achieving your goals.
How do obstacles prevent you from achieving your goal?
Obstacles are those stumbling blocks that will always prevent you from reaching your goals.
They are those limiting factors that hinder you from achieving your desired dreams.
And in order to become successful, you have to completely overcome those obstacles.
Setting goals is not enough; actualizing your goals is all that matters.
When unexpected obstacles and setbacks set in at the point of executing your goals, life becomes almost unbearable.
It is not an understatement to say that every success always comes with challenges.
And those challenges often come as problems you need to solve.
If you can solve them, you can then have the assurance that you will reach your goals.
May you succeed in your goals indeed.
