It is worth noting that while people were inside their homes and bored, the only option that was left for them was to surf the internet, and since the use of mobile devices was already rampant, it was easy for every Tom and Jerry to just pick up their phones and start browsing the internet.
Those who needed updates on the pandemic were busy typing one question or another into search engines, while so many saw the need to join social media platforms in order to stay connected to their colleagues, friends, and family whom they couldn’t meet physically.
Thus, the internet saw a huge increase in its users after the 2020 lockdown, and this in turn created so many opportunities for people to get online and start making money.
