On this post you will get to read our daily devotional from God’s word for Wednesday January 19, 2022.

Most times in our daily lives, our busy schedule causes us to stay apart from our creator, but if we can only make it a point of duty of rising into a devotion with God every morning, I believe it will be worth it.

The scriptural text for our daily devotional from God’s word today Wednesday January 19, 2022, is taken from Mark 10:46-52.

Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.

And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.

Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”

And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.

So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.

Mark 10:46-52.

Blind Bartimeus would have missed his miracle if he had hearken to the people warning to remain silent.

Even though he was unable to see the enormous crowd that was following Jesus, he perceived Jesus was passing that way and so he cried out for His help.

The poor blind beggar did not see Jesus and his prophets as we are able to see today.

And he did not have multiple opportunities of calling on Jesus as you and I do today.

Yet he persisted and made use of the one opportunity to call on Jesus for a miracle and had it.

Child of God, make sure you call upon Jesus today and receive a miracle.
