On this post you will get to read our daily devotional from God’s word for Saturday November 13 2021.

Most times in our daily lives, our busy schedule causes us to stay apart from our creator, but if we can only make it a point of duty of rising into a devotion with God every morning, I believe it will be worth it.

The scriptural text for our daily devotional from God’s word today Saturday November 13 2021, is from Phillipians 3:17-21.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “of every tree of  the garden you may freely eat; “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Genesis 2:16-17.

In our daily devotional for today, we see how Adam and Eve were given the free will to choose between eating of the fruit in the middle of the garden.

But as we all know the story, they both were unable to heed to this commandment from their maker.

And what followed was the curse, eviction from the garden, suffering and finally death.

The worst part of it all is that all the descendants of Adam and Eve must also bear the consequence.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

Romans 1:18-20.

But after all that hope sprang up for mankind through the second Adam; our Lord Jesus Christ.

And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.

The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

1 Corinthians 15:45-49.

As we can all see from the above scripture, we must all bear the image of the second Adam in order to share in His power of Ressurection and live forever.

For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive

1 Corinthians 15:21-22

May God bless His word for us today in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
