On this post you will get to read our daily devotional from God’s word for Saturday January 29, 2022.

Most times in our daily lives, our busy schedule causes us to stay apart from our creator, but if we can only make it a point of duty of rising into a devotion with God every morning, I believe it will be worth it.

The scriptural text for our daily devotional from God’s word today Saturday January 29, is taken from 1 Corinthians 10:23-24.

“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.

1 Corinthians 10:23-24.

We call it freewill, that is the right given to every human beings to choose their respective actions.

But we must understand that every actions a human being chooses must either be constructive or destructive.

And the most important aspect of it is when these actions revolves around our fellow human beings.

The best way to go aout it is always to put others first before ourselves.

The secret to doing this lies in the fact that, the good we do to others will definitely turn back to benefit us in one way or another.

That brother you help with your last savings to travel out or start a small business might become a billionaire tomorrow and return that favour in a way you never expected.

So whenever we must and can, we should always do good to others, even at the detriment of our ownselves; so far it does not hurt us per se.
