On this post you will get to read our daily devotional from God’s word for Saturday December 11 2021.

Most times in our daily lives, our busy schedule causes us to stay apart from our creator, but if we can only make it a point of duty of rising into a devotion with God every morning, I believe it will be worth it.

The scriptural text for our daily devotional from God’s word today Saturday December 11 2021, is from

But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.

2 Thessalonians 3:13.

You can read our morning prayer points and declarations for today on our religious site via the link below.

The reason the above scripture advises us not to grow weary in doing good is because of the feedback we will always get when trying to do good.

It is clear and certain that, those we do good to will often pay us back with evil.

And for this reason, we might become weary and give up doing good.

Now let’s study the next passage and see how the scripture encouraged us to do good.

Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with cursing; instead, pay back with a blessing, because a blessing is what God promised to give you when He called you.

1 Peter 3:9.

It is undeniable that we will always seek for people to pay us back good for good.

But when we have this attitude it means that we are inclining to human blessings than that of God.

And that in essence amounts to denying or forsaking God.

Therefore, when we do good to others we must always turn towards God for the reward.

And when we do so we will careless about human reactions and rather wait on the Lord to bring the person who will bless us.

Because it is not those you do good to that you should seek for reward, but God.
