On this post you will get to read our daily devotional from God’s word for Monday November 22 2021.

Most times in our daily lives, our busy schedule causes us to stay apart from our creator, but if we can only make it a point of duty of rising into a devotion with God every morning, I believe it will be worth it.

The scriptural text for our daily devotional from God’s word today Monday November 22 2021, is taken from Luke 22:61-62.

And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So Peter went out and wept bitterly.

Luke 22:61-62.

All the while when Peter was denying the Lord, he had completely forgotten the Master’s prediction that he is going to deny Him before the roaster crow for 3 times.

But after the last crow, his gaze met that of Jesus, and immediately he remembered the prediction.

Peter’s reaction here sets a very big example of how we Christians should always respond to any occasion of sin.

Because instead of Peter trying to justify his denial of Christ, he silently went somewhere and wept bitterly.

That is to say, he became very sorrowful for his sin.

And because of this Peter was reinstated, reinstalled and we see the outcome in the mark he created in the ministry Jesus handed down to them.

Let us therefore reflect on those times we have committed one sin or another and tried to justify our actions, instead of being sorrowful for our sins.

We can never be perfect in life so long as we remain humans; but the point lies in our being able to own up to our faults and seek for the power to live above them.
