Our daily bible verse and prayer for Monday 8 November, 2021 will be taken from the book of Romans 13:12 and it says:

Bible Verse:

In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 8:13.

Today we are going to access the “new covenant” God has put in place for mankind.

In the above scriptures it says that the old covenant is ready to vanish away; and in it’s place be replaced by the new covenant.

Now let’s check the context of the above scripture to see what is this new covenant the bible is talking.

The new covenant according to the scriptures.

Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Hebrews 8:8-12.

So all this means is that; there is going to come a time we humans will no longer have to worry about committing sin, and paying the price for it.

As a matter of fact; our Lord Jesus had made an example of this day becoming a reality through His ressurection.

And for that reason, we also will share the ressurection power as the scripture shows us in Phillipians 3:7-11.

The problem we have is that must of us do not understand that we have not yet reached the sabbath day; where God is going to rest, we are still on the sixth day where God is busy creating human beings.
